TEW Galleries presents

Liaung-Chung Yen

in a special

Trunk Show

December 2, 3 and 4.

Liaung-Chung Yen was born and raised in Taiwan and his jewelry and artistic aesthetic is influenced by both Chinese culture and art.  As is traditional in Chinese painting, Liaung sees his work as an expression of the mind.  His pieces suggest a moment of thought where stillness, beauty and illumination can peacefully coexist and can be seen as small expressions of art, desire, wit or sensuality.

Just as his pieces of jewelry function as adornment, they can also be appreciated as small sculptures.  Liaung uses linear elements to build the form and structure, creating rhythm and motion in these elegant and original art works.

The jewelry of Liaung-Chung Yen documents both the time in which we live and the refined emotional quality of this exceptional artist jeweler.
